how to fix Trend micro causing unresponsive script errors in firefox upon trying to load flash player

In windows 7 firefox, problem does not occur with IE...When I turn protection off everything runs fine...I can change flash to ask me to load, turn protection back on and it runs fine, if I try to allow flash player to load that's when the start flying and it cripples firefox. At that point I can turn protection off again and everything loads fine. So obviously TM doesn't like flash and vice versa. How do I fix this, as my laptop has no issues.

Thank you for informing this issue. According to your description, we found a possible solution for the similar error message on Mozilla support. If you haven't tried it yet, please give it a shot first:
Warning Unresponsive script - What it means and how to fix it - see "Letting the script run longer" section

If above solution did not work for you, we suggest updating Shockwave Player to resolve this issue.  You can refer to the following steps to install the latest Shockwave Player:
  1. Use your Firefox to go to Adobe's Shockwave Player download page and download the installer.
  2. Close Firefox when the download has finished.
  3. Open the Shockwave Player installer file you downloaded and install it.
Please let us know if the error is fixed after you did the above solutions. Thank you.

Yes, I have, uninstalled with your tool and reinstalled, same issue, it's much deeper than that. Uninstalled browsers, flash, everything. the only thing left is to do a clean install of the 7 and start over.

We have received information that updating Adobe Flash Player (Shockwave Flash) to 22.0.0.209 or higher version can resolve this issue. Could you open the page in Firefox to verify if you're using the latest version of plugins: Check Your Plugins

If above solution does not work, please provide screenshots of your Firefox plugins and the unresponsive script error, and we'll investigate further on our lab. Thank you.

I reinstalled windows 7 last night took me 5 hours and it is still doing it.  Either I get rid of trend micro or firefox.  This is ridiculous.

All plugins are up to date.
