-I'm not a Trend Micro representative, but I like to give you some suggestion-

I do not know on wich functionality you are asking for, but usually password protection is OPTIONAL.
You can simply ignore it.
I'm using Trend Micro Mobile Security and I did not activate password protection.
So, my suggest is to read better what the app is telling you! :)

Hello mary_houlihan ! Welcome to the community!

Thank you Max Slo. Thanks for the input.

May we know what specific password is it asking for? Can you also recall if you have setup the AppLock feature? This might be the one that you are referring.

To have it disabled,

  1. Open the Trend Micro Mobile Security App.
  2. Tap Parental Controls.
  3. Enter your Trend Micro Account password, then tap Unlock.
  4. Tap the App Lock tab.
  5. Drag the slider to the left to turn OFF App Lock.
I hope this helps. If not, kindly provide a screenshot of the message that you wish to be disabled so we can help you further.

All the best,
