How do I schedule quick and full scans?

I want to schedule a quick scan, daily, and a full scan, weekly. How do I that? The way it looks on the console is that I can only schedule one, not both.

To answer your query, To configure the scheduled scan, do the following:
  1. Open the main console of your Trend Micro Security software. Do either of the following:
  • Double-click the Trend Micro icon on your desktop.
  • Double-click the Trend Micro icon on your system tray.
  • Click on the Device tab.                                                      Click Device
  • Click on Configure.                                                      Click Configure
  • Click on Security & Tuneup Controls, then click on Scheduled Scans.Click Scheduled Scans
  • Select the type of schedule.
  • Click Apply, then click OK.

    It seems you're right, you can't schedule a daily quick scan and a weekly full scan at the same time.

    Thank you for posting your comment on this post. It is well appreciated.

    As Jhja have mentioned, scheduled scans can only be made one schedule and type of scan at a time. 

    So unless you change the schedule, you cannot set a new type of scan. Since that is the case, we recommend that instead of doing a quick scan everyday, why not do a full scan once a week instead. Then you can manually do a quick scan everyday instead to check on minor problems which can possibly occur.

    Wouldn't it be better for the user to have the ability to schedule a quick scan on a daily basis and schedule a full scan each week, rather than have them run one or the other manually? I'm sorry, but (in my opinion) TrendMicro is losing points on this issue. It you want to brag about how much better you are than Kaspersky, make your product better and more user friendly.
