How do I remove the Trend Micro 'files scanned'pop up box after it's finished scanning? Can't remove it from my taskbar, either.

Hi Donna,

May I know what type of scan did you perform?

Can I ask if you have tried to click on the close or "x" button to close it?

May I also know if you have tried to right click on the icon on the taskbar then choose "close window"?

If possible, can I ask you to post the screen shot of the problem that you have encountered?

TM_Victor:   Thank you for getting back so promptly and my apologies for not responding earlier.  The first thing I did was click on the 'x' button and I also chose the 'close window'; nothing worked.  The problem was, after it stopped scanning, the window remained open and nothing I did would close it  .  .  . until now. What I did do was restart my laptop and, so far, so good . . . the 'Finished Scanning' windows no longer appears and everything appears fine now.  Thank you for reaching out, Victor.
