Hi there,

I downloaded the hotfix for "[0x7FFEB62770E3] ANOMALY: use of REX.w is meaningless (the default size of the operand 64)" from the following URL "https://esupport.trendmicro.com/en-us..."

however the hotfix fails with the following error

-> Operating system - WIN10_0_64
-> User account
- 501
-> Product version - 9.0 (Failed)
-> Error message(s)
- 501 (Failed)
Rollback:-> Error message(s)
Rollback:-> User account

Thanks for providing the detailed information! Per above error record, it looks like you're using a ver.9 program of Trend Micro Security.

However, since the hotfix can only be applied to Trend Micro Security 11, please follow the instruction below to upgrade your program to the latest version (ver.11), then apply the hotfix again.

  1. Upgrading Trend Micro Security to the latest version
  2. [Hotfix] "[0x7FFEB62770E3] ANOMALY" error message appears when running commands in Command Prompt
