Help getting Trend Micro working again!

My Trend Micro maximum security is good till may 2020. I don't know what happened, but it's not working. Windows Defender is on my computer now. I don't know if an update caused this. Can you tell me what I need to do to get my trend micro working again. I have used for years and it has never failed me.

I think you are not on the latest version.
Reinstalling the latest version of Trend Micro Security program

You may also try to check the steps on the link below to resolve the issue. 
"Protection Disabled" error message appears when opening the main console of your Trend Micro Security program

Also, just for us to know, when did the issue started to happen? Have you installed any program on the PC? Or any specific activity you did on the your machine before this occurred? This will help us find the cause of the issue.
