Hard drive hijack!

I have been using TM on a new Windows 10 laptop for a few months only and already there is a folder, AMSP, that is rapidly gobbling up my hard drive - over 50 GB gone so far.

What is it?
Can I delete it?
How do I stop it coming back?

Thank you for reporting this issue. For your question, first, AMSP log is a log which recording the operation (system activities) of your Maximum Security, and of course, you can manually delete your debug data. Here are the steps for your reference:

First stop all Trend Micro Services. Please refer to the following support doc:
Disabling or enabling your Trend Micro Security software - refer to "Disabling Trend Micro Program"

For Windows XP
  1. Go to Start > My Computer > Local Disk (C:).
  2. Go to Program Files > Trend Micro > Titanium > Archive.
  3. Delete all the contents of Archive folder.
For Windows Vista and Windows 7
  1. Go to Start > Computer > OS C: or Local Disk (C:).
  2. Go to Program Files > Trend Micro > Titanium > Archive.
  3. Delete all the contents of Archive folder.
For Windows 8/8.1 and Windows 10
  1. Go to Start > File Explorer > This PC > OS C: or Local Disk (C:).
  2. Go to Program Files > Trend Micro > Titanium > Archive.
  3. Delete all the contents of Archive folder.
Note: This setting change will not affect the function of Maximum Security. Don't forget to enable your Maximum Security after the confirmation.

Also, you can use Diagnostic Toolkit to uninstall your Maximum Security and then reinstall to make sure everything reset to resolve your problem. Please refer to the links below for detailed steps:

  2. Reinstall Maximum Security
    Installing Maximum Security 10 (2016) 
Last, to make sure that the debugging is off to prevent this problem in the future. Please follow the steps below to manually disable debugging: 

Step1. Stop all Trend Micro Services 
Disabling or enabling your Trend Micro Security software - refer to "Disabling Trend Micro Program".

Step2. Change the setting
a. Go to C: Program Files Trend Micro AMSP. Look for AmspConfig.ini and copy-paste it to your Desktop.
b. Open AmspConfig.ini from Desktop, and look for DebugLogAMSPServiceStart, set it to 0 and then save it.
c. After saving AmspConfig.ini, please copy-paste this AmspConfig.ini from Desktop to AMSP folder.

Step3. Start all Trend Micro Services 
Disabling or enabling your Trend Micro Security software - refer to "Enabling Trend Micro Program"
