Google images allows the kids to log onto google and search for adult material
You need to turn on safe search for google.

Also, the kids put it into emergency mode or install a second profile and this gets around the protection

Hi petesinbox,

Welcome to the Community!

Sorry to hear about this experience.

Regarding the google image results, Google has a built-in feature to turn Safe Search ON/OFF. If your kids manually turn it ON to view adult contents, they can definitely view those images. Also, Trend Micro only blocks websites/URLs which are tagged as Adult, Mature and etc., but not the images itself.

Also, what do you mean by Emergency Mode? Are you referring to incognito mode on the browser?

Regarding the creation of a another profile, the settings of the Trend Micro should be carried over to the new profile.

Please provide us more detail for us to further understand the problem.

Regards,
Joemar

Hi - sorry, no the phone when blocked for time, allows the kid to go into emergency mode (to make calls and use internet). From there they can launch a web browser and carry ont heir activities.

They will never be blocked at a point where they need to dial 999, so this featuire is not required,

Also ,the kid installed a stealth browser and thecontent was not blocked. Is it possible to firce dns through yourselves on all accounts?

Hi petesinbox,

Yes. That will probably happen when they connect to other wifi connection, they can access those unsafe/prohibited websites if the router is not configured to blocked it.

Joemar

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Portal to see activity on devices and spot any problems.

You should create an online portal so i can see what the kids are doing with their deivce in real time, see what sites they visit and mark any that should be blocked that arent - everyone can feed back to you and you can update the blocking.

Also means parents can see if protection is working by seeing the sites they visit
