Is this program from the Microsoft Store dangerous? ginrummy.upw.exe is being blocked by trend micro. This program has been available from the Microsft store for many years.

Hi lambys

May I know if you are trying to install this program or is it only unable to open? Also, is there is a pop-up message from Trend Micro that causes the program to be blocked? Please provide a screenshot of this message if there is any.

Awaiting your response.

I have had this installed for about two months. While playing ginrummy a popup message came up on the screen saying the program was trying to make changes to windows. I have attached the image. NB. I did not take a screen shot of the actual pop up message.
Thanks

Thank you for your response. Please try this solution:

1. Show hidden files and folders.
2. Add WindowsApps folder to the Exception List
3. Run the program if it's working properly.

Let me know how it goes on your end.

Thank you for the response lambys and glad to hear that it is all working again. In case it happens again, please take note of the file path that was detected by Trend Micro then you can add it to the Exception list too. Please notify us immediately.

Let us know if you need anything else.
