Getting charged for renewal twice

I recently renewed my anti virus protection and it is good till October 2017. But I got an email stating that it will automatically renew on October 2016 and will be charged again. How do I keep from getting charged again since I have already renewed?

If they have not automatically renewed yet, go to your scan start page. One of the icons there, I believe it is the one which gives you your serial number and end date, and you can go to the site to turn off "auto renew".

I just checked mine. It's the "human" figure at top-right. Click that and it will take you to your account info where you can turn off auto renew. Good luck...Tim

Hi Tim, thank you for helping! You are correct. The Auto-renew can be disabled on My Account page.

Hi fergusonbs, sorry for the late response. I found that you have contacted our Phone Support over this problem and the Support Team has disabled the Auto Renewal for you.
