For the last few days, the TM icon keeps showing "Now scanning" almost constantly.

For the last few days, the TM icon keeps showing "Now scanning" almost constantly, but when go into the Main Console does not indicate that a scan is taking place. Shows protected and that everything is good. This seems to be really slowing down my computer. Windows did an update few days ago, but does not show this on Windows update screen. What is happening?  Version #12.0.1226.

Hi randmmarcicki,

Sorry to hear of your experience with the Trend Micro program. Usually, this issue is caused by a potentially unwanted program or conflicting program installed on your PC so please make sure to uninstall them.

After that, you may just go ahead and reinstall the Trend Micro program. Please advice us if the issue persists.

The console is the Main Option in the software and if it showing the Console you must have to type your Password, and try to see whether you get the right Tools. You must know you shouldn't use other tools you must track on the Tools with the Console Status so that it will go well every time with scans. So it may be your own falt if you can't scan or slow your computer down. Thank you. Tofe Filiga

Is the issue with scan already resolve?

I would like to know more about the issue you are experiencing with the program and what tools are you referring to.
