Anyone noticing that Trend version 15 seems to slow down flash based speed tests??  Not a big deal, just a question.

-I'm not a Trend Micro representative-

The same for me: no problem using 15.0.

Hi scott_0916,

Thank you for letting us know your concern.

Trend Micro was not supposed to restrict or limit the internet speed of the computer. You can try to check if Trend Micro is the one causing to slow down your computer's
internet speed by comparing your speed test results while your Trend Micro program is enabled  to when it's disabled.

Here are the instructions on Disabling or enabling your Trend Micro Security software.

Please let us know your results.

Regards,
Shaun

Hi Shaun - Yes, by disabling Trend, flash based speed tests run fine, when restarting Trend flash based speed tests return to very slow performance.  Proven on three systems.

ALTHOUGH - One system is still on Windows 10 1803, and the other three are on Windows 10 1809 .55 update.  The one system that has not been updated yet has no impairments.

I'm thinking Windows 10 1809 is not playing nicely with things at the moment?

Hello scott_0196,

Thank you for letting us know your results.

What you have mentioned can be true since Windows 10 1809 is fairly a new update from Microsoft. However, you can try disabling the proxy server settings of your Trend Micro application and do some tests to see if this solution was able to help you solve your problem.

Here are the instructions on Changing the proxy server settings of your Trend Micro Security software.
Follow steps 1-4.
For your Step 5; uncheck the "Use a proxy server to connect to the Internet" option.
Then follow step 6.

Let us know your progress.

Regards,
Shaun
