File hardshell.exe deleted by Trend on installing Pristine Sound 2005

While installing "Pristine Sound 2005" (a mp3 audio editor) on my Windows 7, "ZT" desktop PC, my Trend Micro Maximum Security flagged and deleted a file named hardshell.exe, reporting that it was suspicious and associated with the virus HEU_AEGISCS901T. Now the Pristine Sound 2005 application will not start without this file. My associates install and run this software with no problems but I'm afraid to override Trend.  I need to know if this is a false positive because I need this software. Can you please help.

Hi, JDFADELY!

I can see here that your case is already handled by one of our engineers. We've emailed you and will just be waiting for the needed information to be received.

Upon sending the logs, please give us around 2-3 days to evaluate this. Thank you and have a great day!
