Why do my protected passwords with DASHLANE show up on your scans as unprotected. Dashlane says they are false negatives. They are protected. I contacted them, they said contact you.

Hello scotthelpsme2 and welcome to the community!

Thanks for asking here!

The Unprotected Passwords message means that the password that you have, for example for your Dashlane, is not yet protected by our Password Manager software. It doesn't literally mean that it is not protected.

You can check more information about the Password Manager by visiting the page below.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) about Password Manager

If you can provide screen shots to us, that will be a big help as well.

I hope this clarifies your concern.

Have a wonderful day!
