every time I try to load this subscription to my tablet - message is - unable to reach trend micro try later

Can you provide us a screenshot here? Also, can you provide us your tablet's brand, model and android version?

To see the android version, please follow these steps:

1. Open your mobile device's settings.
2. Go at the very bottom of the settings.
3. Tap About phone or About.

You may also post a screenshot of your mobile device's android version.

I have the same problem. My existing subscription expired, I've bought a new one, and I cannot update the activation key. Mine is a Toshiba tablet (Excite) AT10PE-A running Android 4.2.1

Not sure how I can do that, as I'm typing this into my PC. My tablet (where the problem is) does not have access to this as I no longer have an active account there and neither do I have email there - so it's catch 22. But the problem is as stated - I can access the renewal screen and enter the key activation code, but constantly get a (red) error message saying it can't contact Trend...

What internet connection are you using? If you are using data, switch it to WiFi and try to reactivate. If you are using WiFi switch to data and try to reactivate as well.
