As per the title, when trying to load Microsoft outlook , it sits, and sits, and sits.
I am using Trend Micro Maximum Security and entitled to Premium Support.
Running Windows 10, which has updated in last couple of days.

Just a follow up note for anyone that gets the same problem.
Premium Support checked if there was any problem with Trend, and advised me that it was a Microsoft problem and gave me their support number..
I was put through to a technician who decided to remove the ad-in loading. He did this by running Outlook in safe mode and then unchecking the appropriate add-in option.
Outlook is now working fine, but am wondering about the add-in as to whether my emails are still checked for viruses.

Hello Adrian,

Thank you for updating us regarding this case.

We would like to inform that once the Trend Micro Anti-Spam toolbar is disabled, that feature will not work on your Microsoft Outlook. The emails that are classified as spam will not be filtered anymore.

But rest assured, we have other ways of protecting your device if in case you have received any suspicious email with attachments or links to websites as we are also implementing web browsing protection and real time protection.

With that, we can still continue to provide protection even if the Anti-Spam toolbar is disabled. Also, please be sure that the Trend Micro program is active and updated on your computer. So that the latest possible malware threats can be prevented in infecting your device.

If you still have any other concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Thank you and have a great day!

Hi Adrian,

Strange story, did you try this, ( see pic's)
in the TM menu put it off add-on in Outlook 2010 is gone. Is the normal way to get it out Outlook!
Start Outlook  check that it is gone. Close Outlook!
Then put it on in TM, start Outlook again, now it should appear in Outlook, without a problem. If it give a problem again then put it out again in TM.
No need of getting it out the Microsoft way!

I did this 3 times on a role without any problem with mine Outlook 2010.

Kind regards,
