I got error #20008 on the app for my iPhone and iPad while trying to activate my account on them. I don't know what, how, or why that is because the app doesn't tell me. I tried to make this complaint anonymously already but I don't think it got through.
Sorry for the inconvenience caused. For your Error #20008 issue, we suspect that your Trend Micro Account password contains special characters like ")". Please update your MyAccount password as the following step:
Type your email address and password, and then click Sign In.
Click the Account tab.
Type your current password in the Current Password field.
Type your new password in the New Password field.
Retype your password in the Confirm New Password field.
Click Update Profile. The information updated window will appear.
After updating your MyAccount password, please let us know if your issue is solved. If you still seeing the error code, we'll assist you further.
