email exception list?

Every time I remotely access my company's system, I receive a "passcode" which is part of the access procedure.
And each time TrendMicro tells me that it has intercepted a "dangerous" message and converts it into a text file, which adds unnecessary mouse clicks to the login process. While I know how to add websites or applications to the exceptions list. I cannot see such a feature for email addresses. How can I exempt mails from specific (named) senders from security checks?

Hi Jutta.Campbell and welcome to the community!

For this issue, we assume this happens because the content of the email header is too big. Example: too many receivers or too many attachments. Trend Micro Security has a default limit to the header content. When the header content reached this limit, you will be notified via email.

To resolve this, kindly follow the steps below.

Turn off Trend Micro Security from the System Tray

1. Right-click the Trend Micro icon  in the System Tray (near the clock at the bottom right part of the screen).
If you do not see the System Tray icon, click the arrow button to show the rest of the icons.

2. Select Exit.
System tray icon

3. Wait for Trend Micro's System Tray icon  (near the clock at the bottom right part of the screen) to disappear.
Once the icon disappears, Trend Micro is now disabled.

After disabling the Trend Micro program, you have to run the hotfix provided on the link below:

[Hotfix] Dangerous Email blocked message from Trend Micro Security

After using the Hotfix, please reboot your computer to check if the problem is solved.

Please let us know if the solution works for you.

Thank you and have a great day!
