Downloads should be secure (https and verification hash)

Download link to product from My Account or even reseller bought from, is unsecure (plain http). Bit uncomfortable downloading a program intended for security, this way.

There are certain exploits that take advantage of unsecured connections. At the least, please enable downloads over SSL and provide file hash verification mechanism to make sure file wasn't tampered with over the wire.

Appreciate the chance to submit this feedback. Keep up the good work. Thanks!

Got a reply about this via email, not sure why it's not showing here so posting below for reference:

We would like to thank you for your feedback and recommendation for downloading the Trend Micro program. Our web developers are now checking on this and will update you as soon as possible. For your statement about downloading the program from our Trend Micro MyAccount page, upon checking the website is using HTTPS and when you click to download the installer it will also redirected to a HTTPS site. And from there you will download the TTi_XX_Download_64bit.exe which is not an installer but rather a secure way also to download the installer, since this file is directly connected to our servers and no one will be able to tamper with it when you use this file to get the program.
I double checked and it's not redirecting to HTTPS for the file. Below should be an illustration showing what I mean:

Hope this helps. Thanks!
