I am replacing my hard drive, so I logged into my account on the Trend web site and clicked on the download button next to my product to reinstall it. After installation, I entered my serial number only to be told that it is invalid, and that Trend no longer supports the version I installed! I looked at the download file and it said version 7, and I think we are now on 12! Unbelievable that it doesn't download the most recent version. The error message directed me to a Trend web page that provided an "upgrade" link. That worked, but this was ludicrous, unnecessary, frustrating, and now I probably have old version 7 crap in the Windows registry of my brand new hard drive. Trend, please fix this bug in your web site. Or, at the very least, give me two buttons to choose from: the unsupported version I originally purchased and the latest version I'm allowed to install because I pay my annual license.
