Hi napanlmshower, I'm not sure why you encountered the error since in my understanding Trend Micro Security doesn't include any file or feature called "tm rhea". I'll inquire internally to check if I can get any related information for you.

To let me know further details of this issue, could you please provide a screenshot of "tm rhea" and descript how it took away the full control of your system? You may refer to this page to take a screenshot for us.

hello to my responders
i cannot take a screenshot of it- as it has not loaded up anymore
it did it two days in a row after i started my laptop - but not since i wrote this message.
as for that website
i have no clue what that is
i only visit very few websites online.
and certainly never visited that.
im afraid to even click onto it.

i know simple stuff about computers but not an expert whatsoever
so i did my own checking by just typing in tmrhea in a search engine
it came up a few times
shows tmrhea.exe is a part of trend micro titanium
so how can you say it is not part of trend micro security.
 i have trend micro antivirus+ version 8.0.2064

when i stated that it would take over my computer
i right-clicked on the tmrhea when i opened my task manager
and clicked the security-
there were arrows on allow everything
i clicked end task

thank you for actually answering back
:)

Hi Napalm,

I have check it to and yes, it is part of TM 8!
So no problem there, but works TM 8 still allright?

Kind regards,
Tom

Hi napanlmshower, sorry for not getting back earlier.

Yes, you are right. TmRhea is a component of Trend Micro Security which is using for keeping the protection of Titanium until user reboot machine. Sorry for the misinformation

I understand that the error does not display anymore at the moment. If the error occurs, please try upgrading your Antivirus + Security to the latest version (11.0) and see if everything runs normally after upgrading. Here's a reference document for you: Upgrading Trend Micro Antivirus+ Security to the latest version
