Does installation on Admin account include Standard User account- I do not see how to run Trend Micro antivirus on Standard User? Only a download link is seen on Standard User desktop- nothing in systray. (Win 8.1 pro, Xeon, )

Also- Why are these websites internationally pre set to be allowed- wildcard website URLS ( with cn jn and other nations in the URL) saying any website with the word ...Antivirus... in them should be permitted looks anything but reasonable. Thanks

Hello there MikeCorps ! Welcome to the community!

Thanks for posting here.

The Trend Micro program requires you to be an the Administrator of the account because it will be checking all of the files on your computer to identify if there is a malicious activity or a threat. This type of account is the  only one eligible to provide permission to such program to run on your computer. Also, as far as I can remember, only users with Administrator privileges are allow to carry out such actions like the installation.

For the websites that you are reporting, may I know if you have enabled the Trend Micro Toolbar on your browsers? (If not, see this link to set them up for common browsers).

The websites that you are visiting or links that you visit are proactively rated by the toolbar so that you can know they they are safe to visit. If you have doubts, you can see our Site Safety Checker Site on this link.
