DISAPPOINTED IN TREND

I have been a subscriber for 3-4 years now and am disappointed that Trend malware/spyware and antivirus was unable to block and stop " http://newssci.com/sear3/ " from downloading and is now ingrained as my home page on all my internet browsers.

At this moment this is now my home page on firefox, internet explorer and google chrome and I cannot change it regardless of how many TREND MICRO scans.

trying to open that URL my Trend Micro solution protect me successfully. 

For the moment I can suggest you to check if your product is up-to-date and that web protection is properly set!

The reason that TM did not protect you is that you self give permission to install, that happens if you install some Free Sostware from the internet it comes as a bundle!

There is very little info from your description but if you homepage has been changed this is a chance that you may have installed a Potentially Unwanted Application (PUA).

On the given page, you may want to perform uninstallation of PUA as well as reverting your browser settings back such as removing unwanted Add-ons or extensions as well as fixing your homepage.
