Debug folder growing despite changing ini file

Trend Micro Antivirus + version 10.0.1288
Windows 10.

The folder C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\AMSP\Debug keeps growing, filling up my disk constantly.
I have changed the .ini files, as suggested by the posts on this forum. That has never helped
I have reinstalled the application several times, each time also updating the .ini files of course.
After a reinstall, the problem does not initially occur, but the logging starts again after a few weeks or so.
I understand debug logs can be useful to find problems, but it should never be on by default. There should also be an easy to find toggle in the program to turn if off completely. Users should not be expected to start messing with .ini files to fix bugs in the software.

I expect there to be an easy to use OFF toggle for this logging. I've been using Trend Micro AV for a while because they have a very good reputation and do very well in tests. But if it keeps causing my disk to be full constantly, this will be the last time I buy another one of your products.

I've deleted the folder again today (15GB). After 1 hour, it's already back up to 315MB. Only active software is Chrome and Spotify.

Sorry for getting back late. Regarding this issue, let's try installing the latest version of Trend Micro Antivirus + Security (11.0) and see if the problem solved. You can download and install the latest version from the following page: Installing Antivirus+ Security 2017

If the problem persists, since we can not reproduce this issue on our end, we would like to escalate your situation and have a remote session with you to investigate further.

Please let us know how it goes after installing Trend Micro Antivirus + Security (11.0).

Thanks for your assistance.
I've downloaded and installed the new version. The debug folder is now 23.8MB in size. I'll post an update here in a few days to let you know if it increases or not.

I didn't know my license would also activate a new version, or I would have tried that sooner. Maybe an idea to have the software itself notify me I could update to a new version free of charge.

Also, thank you for the suggestion. The upgrade pop-up is being rolled out to the older version of Trend Micro Security programs.

The folder is now 25,4 MB in size, so I assume the new version no longer has this issue. Thanks for your help, I'm a happy customer again :)
