Clean Privacy Data Option

The option to "Clean Privacy Data" used to pull up Mozilla Firefox, which is the browser I use. It no longer brings that up and only shows Internet Explorer, which I DO NOT use. So why isn't it pulling Firefox up anymore?

Thank you for asking! According to your description, we suspect you're using the Clean Privacy Data of PC Health Checkup. When running PC Health Checkup, Internet Security will remove personal data from all major browsers (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox).

Please follow the instruction below to confirm if PC Health Checkup works properly:
  1. Open the main console of Internet Security.
  2. Select the Device tab.
  3. Click Start to begin the checkup.
  4. Open the main console again.
  5. Click the Security Report icon - next to Setting(gear) icon.
  6. Select PC Health Checkup.
  7. Choose Privacy Data Safety Confirmed.
  8. Click See more details.

If there's no Firefox record for latest Clean Privacy Data, please provide a bit more detail (OS version, Firefox version, etc.). Some screenshots would also be helpful. (You can refer to Taking a screenshot to send to Trend Micro Technical Support) Thank you.

I followed the instructions but Firefox still doesn't show up. It was until about a week ago. I am using Windows 10, and Firefox 48.0 I am attaching a screenshot showing IE and IE Edge, which I rarely use, but no Firefox, which I always use.

Hi Mike,

Since this issue can also reproduce on our end, we suspect the newest version of Firefox is still not supported by the Clean Privacy Data feature. We've escalated your case to Product Developers team, and one of the engineers will contact you directly for further investigation.

Thank you.
