Can't run Minecraft game

Hi Support,

I am trying to run a game platform called Minecraft (http://minecraft.net) that requires to install a program launcher which will download all the necessary java libraries into my computer. The problem is TMMS blocked the downloaded files to be copied into the folder  \.minecraft\libraries\. I have added these folders into Exception List but still got same error.

Take note that you require to create login accounts to Minecraft in order to download the installer.

Regards,
Syazlan

Hello there syazlan,

Pleasure having you here in this community regarding this have you tried adding the main folder of Minecraft for example:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Minecraft?

If not you can proceed on following these links to resolve your problem:

Configuring the Exception List of Trend Micro Security software

If you already added it on the exceptions list and still getting the same problem, you can also try this:

Trend Micro Security keeps detecting files or programs that are already added to the Exception List

Let me know if you're still encountering problems with the Exceptions List.

Kind Regards,
David

-I'm not a Trend Micro representative, but I like to give you some suggestion-

Do you have required Java version installed?

a- Try to install Java visiting Java website before to try to download game again.
b- Deactivate TM while installing, then turn on it again.
c- I do not know the game, exist a version non java based? If yes, try it.
d- Are you sure you have not Folder Shield activated on the game target folders?
e- Try to install in another path

Thank you David and Max Slo for your suggestion. I have tried some of suggestions and it turns out that I have not install Java yet on my computer. After I install it I am able to run the game without any problem.

Thank you both for your help!
