Can't install Password Manager

I've been using Trend Micro for years now. I believe I always purchase Maximum Security. I was also using Password Manager, very happily, until it started telling me it was unable to help with passwords. I looked up tips on your website for this issue, and uninstalled Password Manager. When I try to re-install, the "MUI" program gets another installer, and when I try to execute that it quickly ends up in "Not Responding" status and quietly closes.

I searched the community for help, and found how to install the Chrome and Firefox extensions via the web, but Chrome's says it needs an update and Firefox's just says it can't help with passwords. What is going on?

This is on Windows 8.1 64bit with Maximum Security 11.1.1045

Hello there mkplayny ! Thanks for posting here in the community.

We understand that you are having troubles with the Password Manager on your browsers and it does not seem to work as expected.

You have mentioned that you have already tried removing the program and have it installed again and the Google Chrome Browser said that it needed to do an Update.

I would suggest that you check if your Google Chrome Browser is on its latest version.

If updating the Browsers did not do the trick for you, I suggest doing a clean reinstallation of the Trend Micro Password Manager.

Also, check if you are using a stable and fast Internet Connection as the Password Manager relies on the cloud services to communicate with the services.
