Bogus email

I have had several friends tell me of messages they received from me with links that I did not send. Also I am getting 'mailer demon' reports for bad email addresses that I did not send.

Thank you for asking! According to your description, we suspect your email address has been hacked. We suggest doing the following steps:
  1. Perform a Full Scan. You can refer to the support page below:
    Running a scan using Trend Micro Security software- see "Performing Quick Or Full Scan"
  2. Change your email account's password.
  3. Here's a XFINITY Internet's online help doc for your reference:
    Think Your Computer's Been Hacked? Here's What to Do
If after doing the above steps, your issue still persists, you should provide the mailer demon reports for XFINITY Internet, and provide the Full Scan result for us.
