When websites pop up asking if I want to allow access to my computer why don't I have a option to permanently block that web site if I don't want it to access my computer. You only show options to temporarily or permanently allow access but nothing to block it??

Hello djerina! Welcome to the community!

Thank you Tom for the instructions that you have provided.

Trend Micro has Exception list feature which you can configure so that you can block unwanted web sites.

You can follow the instructions on how to add certain websites under exception list by clicking the link below.

Hi djerina. One thing I would be concerned about, even with a "trusted" website, is allowing the tracking of your browsing and whatever else you may do on the 'net.  Maybe I'm sounding a bit paranoid, but I do all of my financial transactions via internet and I sure as heck don't want someone gaining access to my passcodes. In fact, I keep my Trend Micro security setting on the highest levels ( "hypersensitive" and such ). If this isn't a bother to you, no problem. It's just that hacking and accessing people's data to sell to others has become so rampant in recent years that I take no chances. That's why I've been a long-term user of TM as I believe they are one of, if not the best security systems available.

Just my thoughts...woodartisan

Hello woodartisan55,

Thank you for your great feedback!

If you put a certain website under the trusted list, then you can access the said website even though it has malicious contents or even if Trend Micro blocked it. It is important to verify first if the certain website is safe to access or not before putting it under the trusted website list.

Should you have other concerns, don't hesitate to reply.

Thank you and have a great day!
