apple i tunes conflicts

I get error -3001 in I Tunes if i try to access my account while my Trend maximum security 10 is running. If I turn trend off it works.

You can check this Apple support page for the error code that you're experiencing: "https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201210".

If it still does not resolve your issue, please add the iTunes directory on the Trend Micro Antivirus for Mac's "Files Not Scanned" list. You may follow the steps here: "https://esupport.trendmicro.com/en-us/home/pages/technical-support/antivirus-for-mac/1060987.aspx", however on "Step 2", click on "Edit the List" under "Files Not Scanned", and add the whole iTunes folder.

I have done what you requested to no avail. Please note this is only happening on my macbook pro with the trend micro installed. my old mac computer is fine.
