I don't want the shortcut for airsupport launcher in my start menu. I delete it. However it reappears after every reboot.
How do I stop this happening please?

One possible solution is to run a Trend scan and at the end, in the lower right corner, it should say something to the effect of "make improvements". Click that and click "startup time", and check off the boxes on programs which you do not want to run at startup. then click "apply".

Personally, I have three at startup: Trend Micro security, my H.P updates, and Microsoft updates. Any others kick in after startup. I hope this helps.

I ran the scan, but unfortunately there was nothing to clean up.

Still looking for the answer!

@woodartisan55  Thanks for helping!

@crabtree24  Thanks for reporting this. AirSupportLauncher is a Trend Micro real-time support tool will help you follow the troubleshooting instructions provided by our support engineers while you're on a support call. It causes no harm to your computer. However, an auto software update was pushed recently and we understand the placement of the tool is not desirable. Another update to rectify this is in progress. Please wait for the auto update, and we apologize for the inconvenience.

Thank you for this information.

I would be grateful for a notification here when the update is available.

Thanks again.

Thank you for your understanding! We will keep our eyes on this and will inform you here when the update is available. The update would most likely be automatic so we'll probably just be asking you to verify that it is removed from top of the Start menu. Thank you and have a wonderful weekend!

We have deployed an auto software update to move AirSupportLauncher to the following location in Windows Start menu:

Trend Micro Security
--More Tools and Help
----Trend Micro Troubleshooting Tool

Please check if this update was successful on your PC. Again, this is our new highly effective real-time support tool if you ever need to get on a call with our support engineer.

Thanks!
