Trend Micro updated itself, and then wanted a restart. After that I tried to upload photos to both Twitter and Facebook and I am not able to do so.

If the upload issue persists, let's isolate to make sure the issue is not due to Trend Micro Security. Please check if you can log on Facebook after you temporarily disable Trend Micro Security. We have a support document that explains how to do this:

(e.g. can't upload photos on Twitter or Facebook error message, Can you upload photos by Internet Explorer or FireFox? Version of your Trend Micro Security etc.) Some screenshots would also be helpful. Thank you!
