Activation and Automatice Renewal

Case No. 1-1-1086979421 Hi I Recently purchased a Trend Micro Maximum security Program and planned to use it in May 2017 when my current current year ends. I keep getting Email asking me why I haven't activated the program. Is it OK bof me to wait until May to activate this new program? Also, I didn't want the automatic renewal option. I believe I was told that I don't request this. Is this true?

I can't help you with your question about May renewal, but one of the helpful Trend Micro reps should be able to.

As far as auto-renew, you can turn that off. On you TM scan start page you'll see a renewal or expiration date. Click that, sign in using your master password, and you'll see where you can turn auto-renew off. I hope this helps a little.

To answer your activation question, yes, it's OK that you can wait until May to activate your new Serial Number!

For your auto renew question, as @woodartisan55 mentioned, after activating your license, you can also manually canceling Auto Renewal. We have a support document which describes how to cancel Auto Renewal:
