2 year renewal seems only to be for 12 months?

My question is: I received the email " Renew your Trend Micro Security early online - save up to $170 on 2 year premium security upgrades". I just upgraded to Premium Security Silver but only seem to have received a one year subscription (to 11/9/17) ??? Followed all the prompts from this email??? Can you advise please. Many thanks Elizabeth Anne Banks
