"Protection disabled" Restart necessary

Hi TM For the last few days whenever I log into my Windows 10 PC I am advised the TM status is "Protection disabled" after just a few seconds only. Restart is required. Your conversations show a 'Restart required' update was automatically released (June 27) - assuming I received the update, why has this apparently stopped working ?

I suggest to reinstall or upgrade to 2019 version.
Reinstalling the latest version of Trend Micro Security program

While Tom's suggestion is a quick fix for this, I highly suggest you check out this link and follow the instructions in it. 

"Protection Disabled" error message appears when opening the main console of your Trend Micro Security program
