I have W10 and using Trend Micro Max Security 11. I just exported my password manager data in hopes of cleaning up the duplicates. The file has an extension of PWM. I don't know how to open it. I tried Excel but it asked questions I don't know how to answer, ie., delimited, etc.

Sound like you need to open it using you Password Manager program.

Yes, it does; but that doesn't make sense. Why export it just to open in the same place it came from? If I use the password manager to do what I'm trying to do I have to open every single entry to view and/or correct the data. I'm trying to get ALL the info in one place, correct it, and then import it into the password manager. If that's not possible I'll quit spinning my wheels now. Otherwise, I want it fixed because there is erroneous login info being kept and I sure don't want to go through 200+ websites login info site by site.

Hi elaineladwig  and welcome to the community.

Thank you for bringing this concern to us. Regard to the PWM file extension. May I ask how did you export the password, we don't have a PWM extension file.

To properly export the file. Kindly see are article about Importing and exporting passwords using Password Manager

About cleaning your Password for duplicate, I may recommend to delete the duplicate using in the Password manager console. Kindly see the link for Managing the saved passwords on your Password Manager
