I've completed the survey 3 days ago but when I check my license end date it is still the same. When do the 90 days get added?

Hi Suzy,

We are still in the beta phase. The license extension will reflect after we exit the beta phase which will be sometime in July. Please keep the beta build running for now as our developers will be checking if the product key is indeed being used with the beta build. We will send a separate email to the registered email accounts once the license extension has been applied.

Regards,
Aldreen

Hi Everyone,

We have found out that there are some testers who typed in the beta product keys instead of their official product key. The beta product keys are the ones assigned and emailed to testers once you downloaded the beta build. It is also the beta product key that will be shown in the download page of the beta portal. This is a temporary key that can only work in the beta build. The official product key is the one you're using in the officially released version of the product (e.g. Maximum Security 2019).

We will be sending a separate email to each one who submitted a beta product key in the survey so if they really have an official product key, they can enter those into our license extension survey instead and we can have those license be extended for an additional 90 days as long as all other conditions stated in the original post are met.

Please note that the beta product keys will not be extended and cannot be used in the official product release.

For the ones who have entered the correct product key, you may expect the 90 days extension to your license to reflect sometime in July. You just need to continually use the beta build and it will eventually be upgraded to the official build once it has been released to the public.

Regards,
Aldreen

I received an email dated Jul 1 telling me that the beta testing had ended and to reinstall my official version. As I prepared to do so, I logged into my regular TM account and I see that it still has my original expiry date of Jan 3, 2020, and I have not yet been given the promised 90 day extension. OK...I just reread the above post by Aldreen and see that it states in the last paragraph that the 90 day extension will reflect sometime in July. I had understood it would happen immediately at the end of the beta test. So I guess we just have to wait for that to happen. Will we be sent an email notifying us when the 90 day extension has been done or must we just keep checking our accounts? Thanks.

Hi djwhite077,

We will send an email notification regarding the license extension to all the verified accounts. Upon checking here on our end, you were able to submit the license extension survey. With that, rest assured that you will receive the promised 90 days license extension this month. Thank you for participating Trend Micro Beta!

Thank you, Diane. BTW...when I tried to post the above comment using Edge (my preferred browser), and with the Beta version still installed, I was required to first sign into the community forum. However, I was unable to do so using Edge, with Beta. Instead, each time I would click on the "continue" box, it would just open the same page again, just keeping me in a continuous loop and going nowhere. I then decided to attempt to access the community forum using Chrome, found this same page, and made the above post. Again, I'm glad to see TM finally embracing Edge, it having been introduced four years ago. I do hope TM will work on these bugs so that when the newest version is released to the public, I will be able to use Edge confident that these bugs have been resolved. Now....on to do my uninstall of Beta and re-installation of my registered version. Thanks again for your reassurance.

Dear djwhite,

Thank you for your confirmation and the issue you have encountered with Edge is something similar that is being worked on by our developers.
For the meantime, we are unable to reproduce the sign-in loop on our end. Could you please clear your cache and try again? If it still doesn’t work, please continue using chrome while we figure out the root cause.

Thank you for your time and effort in testing our product.
