Temporary loss of Internet after I wake tablet

When I wake my tablet for use, both my VPN and WiFi display as connected,  but no app can connect to the Internet. I turn off my VPN, then my tablet Wifi. I reconnect my WiFi, and then my VPN. Temporary issue resolved. Only happens when my VPN is on and I put my device to sleep. Happen with two tablets.

Have you tried reinstalling the Trend Micro app and check if the issue will still persist?

If the problem still reoccurs even after reinstallation, can you provide us with the actual name of the app involved on this issue and the app version so that we can investigate further.

Thought I selected the VPN Proxy One Pro from a drop down field. Either way, that is the app. Monitoring the uninstall and reinstall on my tablet now. So far so good. Side note, Chromebook operation remains good.
