How do I get my WiFi Protection to start automatically with windows?

Everytime I start my computer I have to run the program to connect my VPN. Also, there is no task manager shortcut, so the app continues to be minimized on my main bar instead of a small icon on my taskbar.

Hi hammour,

Can you please verify what version of Wifi Protection do you have installed? Here's how to check:

1. Press the Windows & R key at the same time. The run window will appear, type there appwiz.cpl

2. Click OK.

3. On Programs & Features, look for Trend Micro and verify it's version.

May I know what type of connection do you have? is it wired or wireless internet?

Hi hammour,

Additionally, we replicated the concern on our end by doing these steps:

1. Open Trend Micro Wifi Protection, add the Wifi to VPN Always On.

2. Restart PC.

3. Wifi should automatically be connected to the VPN after the restart.

It should connect without running the app manually after boot up as long as the WIFI you're connected to is already included in the VPN Always On list. There's no need to minimize the application in the taskbar to keep it running, if it's connected to the VPN it means it's running. You may view the connection status on the Wi-Fi list.

Let me know if you have further questions.
