Unable to install or play Guild War 2 on PC

I recently had to reinstall windows on my PC and I know this was an issue before my reinstall.  When I lunch GW2, I get a flash that the program is installing or updating but then it goes away.  In my old setup, I was able to add GW2 to the exception list but now with the installing, I can't.  Any help why Trend is blocking this one application?

Hi, bern1076.

Let us further check on your concern. Please provide us with the following information:

1. Operating System
2. Trend Micro program version
3. Screenshot of Trend Micro's detection

This can happen if the file/s might not be properly added in the Exception List backend database. Please follow the steps on the link below on how you can properly add a program under Exception List:

How to add items in Trend Micro Exception List on Windows

1. Windows 10 Pro, 64-bit,  Version 20H2

2. Trend Micro Maximum Security, 17.7.1206

3. Where is this location?

Please note, after going through 10 steps I was able to finally get the game to load but I never received a warning or notice that the game was being blocked by Trend Micro.

Thank you for your response, Bern1076.

Good to know the game is now loaded. Is there anything else we can help you with? Let us know in case you get a blocking notification again.

it would be nice if I had gotten a notice to allow the installation and play of the game.  If that could be fixed, it would be nice.
