Trend Micro will not update.

I have attempted to manually update Trend Micro security with no effect. It is 3 days past the last update, software signals a need to connect to the internet to maintain protection, internet is available. I have tried stopping service, deleting temporary files, restarting service, and forcing an update through the about software; no effect. Please advise.
