Trend Micro Vault - Not unlocking

TM Max Security just updated and now I cannot access my TM Vault. The unlock button is there, when you right click, but nothing happens when you click on "Unlock Vault". no login box comes up for password.

Hi Reine,

I ran "sfc /scannow" and restarted.

I can now access the Vault correctly.

Can you try to restart the Trend Micro application and check if the issue persists?

How to turn ON or OFF Trend Micro Security for Windows

 

Will you let us know what version of Trend Micro program are you using? You can also check the current version of Trend Micro installed by doing the following:

  1. Open the main console.
  2. On the upper right corner, click the Silhouette of a man Silhouette of a man icon.
  3. Select about the software.

Thank you Reine, I have the following version, Trend Micro Maximum Security, Version 17.0.1181 (Component versions)

Expiration 11/9/2021

All components are up to date as at 10/19/2020, 8:35:16PM.

I have stopped the TM service as per instructions then restarted, the TM Vault still not responding.

I am using Win 10 Home (64 bit), which is up to date with patches etc.

Next suggestion??
