Reinstalling and Restart Required
Greetings,
My Trend Micro stop working and I am having a problem reinstalling Trend Micro. So I tried reinstalling. The installation goes well then is says “Restart Required”. After restarting my computer, it does not finish the installation. Instead it starts back at the Serial Number page. Then once I finish the License Agreement page it will return to “Restart Required”.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

To continue addressing the concern, kindly run the Trend Micro installer again. When you see the "Restart Required" window, leave the window open and proceed with the steps provided below:

Please try to run the Trend Micro Remnant File Remover Tool. This usually happens when there are remnants of the previously installed Trend Micro Security software. You may refer to this link below:
How to use Trend Micro Remnant File Remover Tool
After running the tool, try to install Trend Micro again.
