Pay Guard (Right-Click on Link)

There have been numerous times I wanted to be able to right-click on a link to open it in a Pay Guard window.

So, here we are..

Please add this option to the right-click options in browser on PC.

I mainly use Firefox due to security worries regarding chromium-based systems but, when I do have to use one it'd be great if it were present in the right-click menu there as well.

Seems like a natural thing to me and more & more I'm wishing it were there to use.

Hi @myrcom_tech,

Thank you for this!

Trend Micro Pay Guard helps you protect your financial transactions while online banking or shopping on your default browser, and since it was designed to protect banking websites, you may enable "Ask every time before opening banking or shopping websites in Pay Guard" by ticking it.

On the main console, click Privacy and click Configure next to Pay Guard to open its settings page.

You can also simplify the process by adding banking or shopping websites you often use to the Protected Website List. Pay Guard will automatically protect these websites when you open them in your browser.

Here's How to add a website in Trend Micro Pay Guard.

Hope this helps!

Yes.. I've had to stop it popping up sometimes and would rather not have to deal with pop-ups in this regard (or most any regard).  I have set some sites to auto-open it but the issue there is you end up with one instance in the original browser window and a 2nd, secured one, opened in a new window.

I felt like the ability to right-click a link to open in the secure window to begin with would help alleviate doubling and just have a more streamlined operation. This would be great to have functional when I'm opening from bookmarks as well as links either on my webtop hub page or links at other sites.

I end up letting the new, more hardened secure window, open up, then flip over to the original browser window and close that tab and then return to the Trend PayGuard one..  This feels kinda clunky and these days even the initial page of a site can have opened applets or whatever memory & resource use which are then duplicated in the Trend-Opened one.

I am just trying to come up with some ways to make this both more intuitive and less clunky feeling & functioning.
