Green Highlighting - how to turn off

Hi, how can I turn off the green highlighting of links? I find it very annoying especially while trying to proofread emails I'm sending to clients!

Hi Josh

Welcome to Trend Micro Home Users Community!

Trend Micro Toolbar will automatically rate the links in the results of popular search engines and the links shown included in the email.

As for your concern, you can change how it rates links in order not to show a green highlighting instead it will rate links on regular webpages whenever you pause your mouse cursor over the link for a moment.

Here's how to do it:

1. Click on the Trend Micro Toolbar in your browser.

2. Put a checkmark on Rate Links on Mouseover

Hope this helps.

That worked thank you! I didn't have the icon activated in my browser toolbar so hadn't seen that option.

Oh. it's the thing I complained about over year ago...or I guess in 2019.

Since when was this feature added to the add-on? Finally, you found a way to hide the obtrusive green highlighting.

Thank you!

Hi, lloyd_dunamis

With regards to your concern, Rate Links has been an existing feature since the previous versions. For it to work as you prefer, you'll be needing to configure it from the toolbar settings.

You can check this link for more information about the Trend Micro Toolbar - How Trend Micro Toolbar works (Trend Micro Security for Windows)
