Java may become important depending on the apps that you use on your device. There are lots of applications and websites that will not work unless you have Java installed. Java is not connected to Trend Micro Security. Java is owned by Oracle. Java is legitimate however scams using java as a bait keeps on coming up these days. If you haven't done any java update before and doesn't affect your usual way on your computer, You can just ignore and close the pop-up.
