Cannot Turn off Trend Micro Pay Guard

Multiple Trend Micro users are experiencing issues with Pay Guard. It automatically opens websites like Amazon, even if the websites have not been added or configured in the Pay Guard settings. It continuously and annoyingly pops up.

 

Are you also experiencing the same issue with Pay Guard?

@claudiubotezatu​  So far, based on our investigation, only Trend Micro Security builds with  BestBuy and ISP licenses are experiencing issues with Pay Guard.

My Pay Guard keeps popping up when I am on Amazon or Ebay.  I can't get it to disable.  I followed instructions, which tells you to open the Trend Micro control panel, click on 'Privacy', and then uncheck "Ask every time before opening Pay Guard", but mine wasn't checked to begin with.  And, there are no websites in the list of sites to open using Pay Guard, so mine should not be activating at all.  This is very annoying.  Has anyone else had this problem?

The fix on this issue will be included on the next June update possibly on the 29th. For the meantime, you may use this hotfix to resolve the issue.

Yes, I am experiencing the same problem. What a pain, and I cannot disable it despite following the instructions.

None of these steps work and I had sent a prior message in regard to this and do not see it here. Please fix the internal problem because if I go into anything with a shopping cart, Amazon, Home Depot, Best Buy, anything shopping related it keeps opening up in another tab. Very frustrating.

this is so upsetting popping up on every site. will trend micro fix the ignoring pop  up 

i set in privacy as they say it still pops up fix this

The issue is still unresolved for me. Amazon, specifically, keeps popping up to the point of not being able to use the website. This kind of service is extremely inhibiting, and I am not pleased with Trend Micro's service here.
