C: drive is greyed out when trying to select folders in folder shield

HI, I received a prompt to reselect my folders to be protected in Folder Shield but for some reason the C: drive is greyed out, so I can't.
(I did read the answer to the same question someone else asked, where he was told to check the box that reads, "Allow files on this drive to have contents indexed in addition to file properties." I was hoping that would solve my issue as well but that box was already checked in my C: drive properties.)

Its normal for c drive to be greyed out. I had issues for setting up folder shield over desktop folders of mine. That issue is resolved with the help of Trend Micro support engineer. If you are facing issues with regard to adding desktop folders to folder shield I might be able to help.

@The_Eagle_007 Thank you for your answer. I don't understand, though, how it can be "normal" when you have to click on the C: drive in order to select folders to be protected because all of the folders I want protected are on the C: drive ... and you can't click on it with it greyed out. That doesn't make any sense.
I saw the same problem another person had and the advice given to him to fix it was to check a box located within file properties. Checking the box solved the issue for him That box was already checked on my PC though.
If there is anything else you can suggest, that would be awesome!

If you click the "+" sign in front of C: , some subfolders will open (related to "users" ), so whatever you want to protect may be there.

That's the community spirit @claudiubotezatu and @The_Eagle_007! Thank you for sharing your experiences.

In addition, the C drive is automatically greyed out when setting up the folder shield because it contains critical system parts and the Windows operating system, which may change over time. This can trigger false alarms for the folder shield, as it may interpret these changes as potential malware activity affecting the folders under its protection.
