Hi, gdav9!

Welcome to Trend Micro Home Users Community.

May I know if you have added Trend Micro Password Manager toolbar on your Firefox?

Trend Micro Password Manager turns-off your browser's built-in Autofill logins for it to work smoothly. If you prefer Autofill logins for Firefox, you may remove the Password Manager extension and refer to this link below to enable Autofill logins:

Let me know if you have further questions.

I prefer and have always used FF password manager and have not and will not install trend password manager

Every time I start FF I have to go to options and turn "Ask to save logins and passwords for websites" on and then reload FF

How do I stop trend from turning this "Ask to save logins and passwords for websites" of every time I start FF ? ? ?

Hi gdav9

Trend Micro Security doesn't have a feature that disables Autofill logins from Firefox. That's why we had to reconfirm if you have installed Password Manager instead.

How were you able to confirm that Trend Micro is disabling the setting on Firefox? Did you receive an error message or a notification from Trend Micro?

To further isolate this, please try turning off Trend Micro to check if it's the same.

1. On the system tray, right-click on the Trend Micro logo to choose Exit.

2. Wait for 1 to 2 minutes until the logo disappears. Trend Micro should be off.

3. Open Firefox and check if the setting Ask to save logins and passwords for websites is disabled.
