Vpn

Hi. My iPad loads so slow, pages time out. I’ve tried to adjust everything I can think of. Any suggestions?  Runs much better without vpn active.  I have an iPad pro12 2nd generation.

I also have a new iPhone 13 which loads a little bit better.  I was having this same problem even with my previous iPhone 6s.

Same issue. Going to Settings and toggling the VPN off/on is a temporary fix.  However, this issue is unacceptable.

I have been so frustrated by this that I finally turned it off for now.

Hi crhazelton & zymurgydude,

May I know if you have any other VPN application other than the Trend Micro software?

If you have, kindly uninstall the software as it can create conflicts with the Trend Micro application.

Can you also check your VPN settings menu and make sure there's only 1 VPN configuration for the application? You may follow the instructions below to check.

1. Open Settings

2. Tap VPN

3. Check VPN Configurations

Let us know how it goes.

Hi crhazelton,

To further identify the cause, what activities were you doing when the VPN was turned off, and are you getting a specific message for it?

Apologies for the inconveniences, Alan.crane1. We do hope that you’ll always be safe in your online journey.

Thanks!

I had the same issue as everyone else: VPN messing with my ability to access the internet.  Tried turning vpn off and it would just turn itself back on.

Even though I paid $9 for the year subscription, I deleted the app. and cancelled my subscription.
